The platform had grown beyond its original architecture. Performance was degrading, deployments were risky, and the team had lost confidence in the codebase. A full rebuild was needed, but the system could not go down.
We designed a strangler-fig migration, replacing components piece by piece while keeping the existing system live. Each replacement was validated in production before the old component was retired.
The platform runs on the new architecture in production. Deployment confidence is restored and the engineering team has resumed feature development.
